Causeway Scheme Management Supporting the Delivery of Local Transport Plans for Somerset County Council
The Environment Directorate of Somerset County Council is responsible for providing comprehensive and integrated services from regional and strategic planning through to Highways Maintenance.
The implementation of the Causeway Scheme Management Suite has improved financial and project management throughout the life cycle of their schemes and makes a significant contribution in meeting the challenges of scheme and programme delivery for Somerset’s Local Transport Plan (LTP2) which covers the period from 2006 to 2011. Accurate and up to date reports are produced as data is collected as part of the delivery process for improved monitoring, benchmarking and auditing saving both time and money. After study reviews look at the key performance indicators to ensure schemes are progressing efficiently.
