Causeway is Amey's choice for Highway Maintenance Contracts

Amey has recently implemented Causeway Works Order Management (WOM), a module of Causeway Project Accounting to assist in the £300 million strategic partnership with Cumbria County Council to deliver highways maintenance and other related services to the region.

The system will enable seamless business process integration between Amey, Cumbria County Council and Capita Symonds allowing for the electronic creation, transfer, management and submittal of "works orders" between all parties.

Term maintenance contracts traditionally result in the generation of numerous transactions between client and contractor and are notorious for creating large volumes of paper.

Causeway WOM will resolve these issues bringing all of these transactions into a single solution allowing each organisation to proactively manage contract performance.

Amey is also using the system on Highways Agency Trunk Road Maintenance Contracts including Areas 1, 6, 9 and 10.
