Causeway & Aggregate Industries shortlisted for Electronic Trading Award

Causeway and one of the largest materials suppliers to the industry, Aggregate Industries, have entered and been shortlisted for the "Best Connected" Construction Project category at this years IT Showcase Awards with a project focused around electronic trading using the Causeway Tradex solution.

The IT Showcase Awards highlight the effective use of technology within the Construction industry and are held each year at the industry's largest exhibition - Interbuild. Causeway and Aggregate Industries have worked together on this electronic trading project to help Aggregate Industries roll out a solution (Causeway Tradex) to their supply chain partners in order to improve efficiency, reduce cost and help streamline the purchase to pay process.

Aggregate Industries is one of the largest suppliers of construction materials in the industry and has a significant customer base with over 17,000 businesses to trade with. This customer base includes some of the largest contractors and builders merchants and Aggregate Industries selected Causeway to help improve the trading relationships with these firms.

The IT Showcase Awards will take place at Interbuild on Wednesday 31st October within the IT Showcase exhibition which is located in Hall 5 of the NEC in Birmingham.
