Efficient document management for Core Utilities

Improving the management of business processes was the catalyst for Core Utilities to select Causeway ECM (Enterprise Content Management) software. The company, that offers the complete utilities solution to clients including Miller, Taylor Woodrow and Laing O'Rourke, is now benefiting from a 'joined-up' system that maps out key business processes from start to finish.

For Core Utilities, two capabilities were key: Document Register and the ability to gain greater control over their essential business processes.
 
Document Register provides an e-paper trail for managing the issue and transmittal of key documents, so that amendments and approvals are recorded at every stage of a project.
 
Causeway mapped out the client¹s key business processes, identifying the stages necessary to complete each job. The strength of the flexible workflow designer improved both control and efficiency, whilst e-mail reminders trigger actions for individuals throughout the project.
 
Core Utilities is also a Causeway Tradex and Causeway Financials and Project Accounting client.
