Causeway Expands Portfolio with Vixensoft Merger

Causeway, the Construction Software People, today announced that Vixen Software Solutions Limited (Vixensoft) will be merged with Causeway Technologies.

Vixensoft are a leading provider of software and mobile solutions to building services contractors, maintenance providers and field service teams.  Founded in 1978, the company has been successfully developing, implementing and supporting integrated software solutions for over 30 years. 

Vixensoft solutions offer a wide range of benefits and savings and, most notably, include a market leading service management and mobile working solution for field based operations.  Vixensoft solutions are used by over 250 companies across the UK, including industry-leading organisations such as Scottish & Southern Energy Home Services, Dodd Group, EIC, J Tomlinson, Inspace Partnerships and Integral UK.  Based in Alton in Hampshire and employing 58 people, Vixensoft has an annual turnover of £3.5m.

Commenting on the move, Causeway’s CEO, Philip Brown explained, “Vixensoft will add to our already well established software solutions, offering significant benefits to both Vixensoft and Causeway customers. Vixensoft’s mobile solution for field service based organisations will be of great interest to Causeway customers involved with Utility contracting, Highway Maintenance and Building Services, whilst Causeway’s solutions for Financial Management, Document Management and Supply Chain integration are all highly relevant for Vixensoft customers. A significant consideration for the Causeway board was the addition to our industry domain knowledge, creating an enlarged workforce of 200 well-motivated construction IT experts. This reinforces our position as the Construction Software People.”
