Causeway tracks growth with acquisition of GlobalLive
Causeway Technologies today announced the acquisition of the Fleet Management solutions business of Globallive Limited (Globallive).
Globallive, based in Wakefield West Yorkshire is a leading provider of mobile tracking solutions to fleet operators across several markets including the construction and field service industries. Established less than 4 years ago the business has secured over 400 unique customers with nearly 15,000 vehicles monitored and tracked using it’s award winning software and tracking service.
Philip Brown, Causeway CEO, commenting on the importance of this strategic acquisition, said, “The GlobalLive business adds an outstanding team that has produced the leading tracking solution, running on a robust and dynamic platform that delivers at every level. We welcome the opportunity to offer the GlobalLive customer base sustainable and well-resourced products and services. The potential benefits to Causeway’s existing customer base are very exciting and add a considerable edge to our market offerings.”
Dr David Clayton, Managing Director and one of the founders of GlobalLive said “We are very proud of the exceptional product we have developed and the service we provide, but the withdrawal of leasing facilities to many of our prospective customers placed considerable pressure on our business. Causeway’s strong financial position and size will help us address this issue and take the business to the next level. The ever-changing and increasing needs of our customers are at the forefront of our minds as are the staff of GlobalLive who now take their places within the Causeway business.”
