It has been developed in response to market feedback for a tool that is easy to use, flexible and competitively priced.

Markings are applied using a simple, easy-to-use interface giving accurate, well presented drawings. Most CDS Line commands use dialog boxes to improve speed and control. All road line types are available in CDS Line, as well as symbols, road text and hatching. Road studs can be attached to lines; parking bays, bus stops and pedestrian crossings are all easily drawn.

Markings applied with CDS Line are all constructed from standard AutoCAD entities, enabling the user to manually edit markings, if required. In addition to creating markings CDS Line has a quantification facility reporting to the drawing or an external file (text or spreadsheet) or both.
