Causeway CATO version 16.0.1 is now available. Please click here to download a self-extracting file containing an installation set. These files can be used to create a new instance or upgrade an existing installation. This file also contains release notes document and a release certificate.

Please note that CAD/BIM Measure is now installed as part of the Causeway CATO Suite. To install the CAD/BIM Measure product you need to download, and install the Causeway CATO Suite v16.0.1.

PDS Version 18

PDS v18.0.00 started shipping on CD in late October 2010, and will run either standalone or inside AutoCAD R2008, R2009, R2010 and R2011 (but definitely not R2006, and R2007 is no longer supported but may run).

PDS v18.1.03 Patch

There is now a patch for v18.1.03. Please ensure that you exit PDS and AutoCAD before running any of these patches. These patches will upgrade your standalone or AutoCAD R2008, R2009, R2010, R2011 or R2012 version of PDS from v18.0.00 or later to v18.1.03:

PDS v18.1.03 and AutoCAD R2012

PDS v18.1.03 is also compatible with, and runs inside, AutoCAD R2012 but the above patch will not perform a complete new installation for PDSA in R2012. If you have recently upgraded from AutoCAD R2010 or R2011 to R2012 and wish to run PDSA inside R2012, first download and run the above patch to update your existing PDSA inside R2010 or R2011 to PDSA v18.1.03, and then download and run the following program to migrate the relevant PDS settings and drivers from your R2010 or R2011 to R2012:

PDSA_Port_To_R2012

Alternatively, if you have updated from AutoCAD R2009 or earlier directly to R2012, or you have never had any version of AutoCAD prior to R2012,  then neither the v18.1.03 patch or the Port_to_R2012 program will perform the necessary full new installation for PDSA v18.1.00 inside R2012.  In such cases, contact  Causeway Support  for guidance to obtain a complete new Installer for PDS v18.1.03.

PDS v17.0.06 Patch

These versions are still included here for the benefit of users who have not yet updated to PDS v18. Please ensure that you exit PDS and AutoCAD before running any of these patches. These patches will upgrade your standalone or AutoCAD R2007, R2008, R2009, R2010 or R2011 version of PDS from v17.0.00 (or later) to v17.0.06 :

Previous Upgrade Patches Prior To PDS v17

Upgrade patches for previous versions are no longer available from this site, users should now be using PDS v17 or later.

If you do require an upgrade from an earlier version of PDS then please contact Causeway Support.

Microsoft Patch

A number of PDS users have encountered a problem when updating to PDS V15 from CD, the problem being that the setup program appears to hang. This is due to certain Microsoft components in your Windows XP system requiring to be updated, for which one of the following patches downloaded from the Microsoft website will resolve the problem. Download and run one of the patches according to your current XP version:

Windows XP Service Pack 1
Windows XP Service Pack 2

Some PDS users running in Windows 2000 encounter a problem with missing dlls when running the V15 CD, this should be resolved by downloading the following zip file and following the instructions contained in the readme.txt file contained within the zip file:
