Causeway Wins Grand Prix Award at Employee Engagement Awards

Topics: Employee Benefits, Employee Wellbeing

Causeway are delighted to announce that we have won two Engagement Excellence Awards, including the most prestigious Grand Prix Award, selected by the judges as the best of the best for our Wellbeing strategy. This follows the three Workplace Savings and Benefits (WSB) Awards we were awarded in September.

The Engagement Excellence Awards celebrate companies that are leading the way in employee engagement and those working to make the world a better place to work. The set of awards, which include categories such as 'Most creative communications' and 'Most unique company benefits', acknowledge innovative and game-changing companies, and allow the industry to gain ideas for future improvement. The WSB Awards recognise both employer and provider excellence, rewarding employers that offer the best team benefits to employees.

Engagement Excellence Awards

We have previously been successful as finalists and winners at the Engagement Excellence Awards which celebrate the best in Employee Engagement. This year we achieved the following:

  • Winner of the judges’ Grand Prix award
  • Winner of Best Wellbeing Strategy
  • Finalist for Most Strategic Communications for Smaller Organisations
  • Finalist for Most Integrated Engagement Platform

We are extremely proud to have been selected as the Grand Prix winner for the Engagement Excellence Awards against several well-known brands include Samsung, Sky, Travis Perkins, Atos, Morrisons, Rowntree, Specsavers and DHL, to name but a few.

So what's the fuss about?

Awards such as these involve a very strict entry criteria and judging process with an independent panel of judges. As a business, we have to demonstrate what we have achieved and the impact this has had on both the business and the employees, using both qualitative and quantitative data as supporting evidence. The judges score all entries against a predetermined set of criteria, with the top scoring entries for each category selected as finalists.

There are over 20 different awards in total and the maximum number of awards that any organisation can enter and be considered for in the finals is three. It is therefore an incredible honour for us to reach the finals for all three of our entries.

Workplace Savings and Benefits Awards

In September, Causeway entered the WSB Awards for the first time, winning three awards:

  • Best Healthcare and Wellbeing Strategy of the Year
  • Best Communications/Engagement Initiative of the Year
  • Savings and Benefits Team of the Year

The panel of independent judges recognised the extensive range of benefits we offer, as well as our creative and innovative approach and positive culture of wellbeing, including our family friendly measures and recognition of caring responsibilities. They were also impressed by the integration and alignment of the reward strategy to the business strategy and the overall impact on both our business and our employees.

Causeway was the only organisation to receive more than one award and was recognised ahead of brands such as Plusnet, Centrica, BNP Paribas and Louis Vuitton.
