Causeway’s Telematics vehicle tracking solution is helping The Bennie Group to manage its vehicle fleet using real-time location data for improved efficiency and enhanced visibility of key information.

The Bennie Group is a family business that operates eight divisions, with activities ranging from earth moving to orthopaedic footwear. The company has been using the Telematics solution since 2014, gradually extending its use across different divisions.

“We are currently using Telematics in four of our eight divisions, where it has replaced a mix of different systems,” explained Head of IT Matthew Ayres. “Telematics provides us with a centralised system which can be deployed and managed cost-effectively by our IT team. The simple user web interface is very easy to manage and deploy to users,” he added.

Prior to implementing Telematics, the company had considered other tracking solutions on the market and selected Causeway on the basis of functionality and the quality of technical support.

“We had been working with Causeway in other areas and were impressed with the quick response of their support team. With other suppliers we would often have to wait days or even weeks for a response to issues or questions,” Matthew Ayres continued. “The experience of working with Causeway has been very positive and we look forward to continuing to use Causeway products across their solution suite, along with the associated product development that goes with them,” he concluded.
