ECG Facilities Services is implementing Causeway Tradex and Enterprise Content Management to improve the efficiency of document management, both internally and through the supply chain.

Established in 1994, ECG Facilities is a leader in the provision of building services maintenance repair and installation and has offices throughout the UK. The company is also a long-term user of Causeway Vixen Service & Maintenance and Mobile Workforce. Tradex is to be used to enable suppliers to submit invoices electronically using the Tradex eTrading hub, helping to reduce paperwork and save a considerable amount of time compared to the manual processing of paper documents. The Tradex solution will initially be used with top suppliers and then rolled out through the supply chain. ECG will also be using the Tradex ‘managed email’ functionality for submitting invoices to customers. Enterprise Content Management (ECM) is initially being introduced at the company’s Bristol office to facilitate the management of internal documents. As the ECM solution goes live in other locations it will provide ECG with a structured environment for managing and sharing documents across the enterprise.
