Utilities and infrastructure maintenance contractor McNicholas Construction has been a Causeway customer for over 10 years using Causeway Project (CPA) and Financial Accounting (CFA) solutions.

Following a business review in 2010, they were keen to rationalise the number of IT suppliers and reduce costs and wanted to work with a single solution provider to meet their business requirements. McNicholas signed up to a strategic partnership with Causeway and committed to a complete enterprise wide software suite to manage their operations. McNicholas upgraded to the latest version of CPA (7.10) to incorporate new modules including Street Works Noticing and Permitting along with the Causeway Mobile works ordering solution. CPA now automates street works noticing, issues jobs out to their gangs quickly using mobile devices to deliver an improved service for their clients. In addition their plant division have invested in the Plant Management solution for hire control, asset utilisation and maintenance and the Finance Team have started a roll out of the electronic trading solution to Tradex, to reduce the costs of managing invoices with their suppliers.
