The Highways department of South Lanarkshire Council has underlined their commitment to Causeway, with further investment in the Causeway Project Accounting system (CPA) to proactively manage highways maintenance activities across the region. Offering seamless integration with the client asset management system (EXOR), CPA electronically imports works orders to manage the detailed status of the work from receipt to completion. Completion dates, times and valuation details are electronically passed back to EXOR, enabling seamless transfer of data between client and contractor.

CPA is also managing all the labour, plant, material and subcontract costs for the work. With both cost and value data residing in a single system, South Lanarkshire can report and manage the profitability of each individual job. South Lanarkshire Highways are now also utilising the CPA stock module to proactively manage the issue of stock items such as salt for the highways gritting fleet By providing integration with the Council's corporate Oracle financial system, CPA is managing the commercial performance of highways maintenance activities without compromising their corporate IT strategy.
