Europe’s biggest volunteering project, Crisis at Christmas, used Causeway Telematics to support their fleet of vehicles, as they ferried goods, volunteers and guests between homeless centres across London, over the Christmas period.

Crisis at Christmas assigned Causeway vehicle trackers to around 60 vehicles, enabling their transport team to better manage the fleet from their central office in Bermondsey. Recommended by Resilient Networks, the trackers allowed the transport team to locate the vehicles at any point and, by helping drivers locate their destinations more easily and respond to ad hoc requests, they ensured their precious cargo reached its destination on time. By discouraging route deviance and recording journeys, the trackers also provided the charity with security, to cover them in the event of problems or negative accusations. The Aimar Foundation provided information system for Crisis at Christmas; “Causeway was incredibly helpful and amazingly flexible, offering an exceptional degree of support, even from home on Christmas day! We look forward to working with them again next year, to experience the full benefits of their vehicle tracking system.” said Tor Gullan, Head of Operational Support for the Aimar Foundation. We look forward to assisting Crisis at Christmas in subsequent years.
