Phil founded Causeway in the spring of 1999, with a vision to create a business that would become a leading IT solution and services provider to the Construction Industry. Under Phil's direction, Causeway has grown to become one of the top three providers in the UK. This performance earned Phil a place amongst the 40 (people) under 40 tipped by Building Magazine to lead the Construction Industry into the Millennium.
Phil leads the business and is responsible for the strategic direction of Causeway.

Peter brings to the board considerable experience having managed businesses operating in the software market for over 20 years. Having spent 3 years at the European CEO of SVI Holdings, a US listed software business, Peter was appointed as Chairman of Integrity Software Limited during which he oversaw the companies disposal as part of an MBO in the summer of 2005.
Peter brings to Causeway a natural flair for business and a proven ability to successfully implement growth strategies. He is responsible for all Corporate matters at Causeway.

Paul has over 15 years experience from within the Enterprise Content and Document Management (ECM) software sector. Having worked for a US workflow organisation he then became Sales Director for a systems integration company which implemented document and workflow management solutions. Following the company's acquisition in 1998 by the Open Text Corporation, Paul was appointed UK Sales Manager for the Oil, Gas and Energy sector. After a successful 4 years Paul was recruited by Hummingbird to become EMEA Financial Services Sales Director and was responsible for sales, marketing and overall strategy for this vertical.
Paul joined Causeway in September 2007 and his knowledge and experience of selling enterprise applications will help Causeway to further develop the sales penetration of software solutions within the Architects, Engineering and Construction sector. In January 2009, Paul relocated to Dubai to head up Causeway's development of the Middle East market.

Barry Blake, a qualified Civil Engineer, was the Divisional Director of the Design and Cost Management Solutions Division with responsibility for the P&L and Sales functions of the business. Formally Sales Director and then Managing Director of ECL, Barry led the sales growth of the business, from the management buy out from John Laing Plc in 1996 until its acquisition by Causeway Technologies in 2007.
Barry is now focused on leveraging the strengths of being part of the Causeway Technologies Group to the benefit of the existing client base and further growth of the Division.

Mark is a chartered accountant having qualified in 1992 following his BSc (Management) degree at Trinity College, Dublin. Mark worked with Deloitte & Touche before taking up the position of Financial Director and Managing Director at Premier Computer Group, which was acquired by Integrity Software in 1999. Mark subsequently became Financial Director of Integrity and then led an MBO to become Chief Executive Officer.
Mark joined Causeway as Group Finance Director in January 2009. His commercial experience in the IT sector and his extensive corporate experience in acquisitions and mergers is key to helping develop the Group in the future.

Dave started his career working for Yellow Pages and Thomson Directories, ultimately becoming Sales & Marketing Director for Thomson Business Development. Following a short spell at Royal Mail Publishing as Sales Director, Dave founded the National CBC Register publishing the Construction Guide, a 'Yellow Pages' for the industry in 1997 with a circulation of 34,000 copies.
Dave joined Causeway in 2001 when Causeway acquired the CBC Register, and he now heads up buildingregister.com, Causeway's online supply chain database of 350,000 contractors and suppliers.

Described by Construction News and Construction Manager as "the construction industry's e-Envoy", Tim has worked over the last 10 years to bring the benefits of e-business to the construction industry. Having previously worked as the Community Manager for CITE (Construction Industry Trading Electronically) since it's formation in 1995, Tim authored the book "Electronic Communication In Construction - Achieving Commercial Advantage" which was published in 2000.
Tim joined Causeway Technologies in 2000 to support the practical delivery of e-business solutions to the industry, culminating in the launch of Tradex, now acknowledged as the UK's leading e-hub. He now heads up the e-business solutions initiatives at Causeway.

As Strategic Development Director, Steve is able to bring his extensive construction industry knowledge and experience to guide Causeway’s product roadmap. Before joining Causeway Steve gained wide experience as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor both in private practice and contractor organisations. His experience also extends to public sector environments and working practice.
Steve is a Fellow and active member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, being the current Chairman of their QS & Construction IT Business Group as well as a co-opted member of the QS & Construction Faculty Board. He is also a Member of the British Computer Society and he holds a Master of Science Degree (Salford) - "IT in Property and Construction".
