At Causeway, we believe technology can help our industry build better. Sustainability is at the heart of how we operate and innovate - it's a shared responsibility that shapes the choices we make every day. By connecting data, people and systems across the supply chain, we help our customers cut waste, reduce cost and lower their environmental impact.
Our purpose is simple: to improve the cost and environmental impact of construction on our world. When we get that right, what is good for business is good for the planet too.
Our commitments show how we are putting this into practice
These commitments show how we move from ambition to action and from action to measurable progress. We are not waiting for change. We are building it.
Cutting our carbon
We have committed to reducing our absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 50.4% by 2032 from a 2024 base year, and Scope 3 emissions by 58.14% per GBP value added within the same timeframe.

Switching to renewable energy
By 2026, Causeway’s head office will run on 100% renewable electricity certified by recognised suppliers. Across our wider locations, we are working with landlords and energy partners to increase renewable sourcing wherever possible and ensure each site meets the highest sustainability standards.
Eliminating waste
We are embedding circular economy principles across our operations to achieve zero waste to landfill by 2027. This includes increasing recycling rates, reusing equipment, reducing packaging and working with sustainable suppliers to minimise resource use across our offices and events.
Being open and accountable
Our Social Value and Environmental Sustainability Policies are publicly available, giving customers verified documentation for procurement and compliance. All sustainability data is independently verified to ensure full transparency and accuracy in our reporting.

Real progress needs reliable data. CausewayOne Carbon is the technology that helps make it happen. Built into our CausewayOne platform, CausewayOne Carbon is a real-time, invoice-based embodied-carbon solution that enables contractors, suppliers and clients to measure Scope 3 emissions using verified transactional data.
Causeway applies the same rigour to its own reporting that it expects across the industry. Our carbon data is independently verified to maintain full objectivity which ensures CausewayOne Carbon remains a trusted solution for our customers, built on transparency and independent verification rather than internal validation.
