Why this matters

Over the next 18–24 months, more than £3 billion in highways maintenance tenders are expected to be awarded across the UK. With budgets under pressure, local authorities are increasingly awarding contracts to contractors that offer more than basic delivery.

Success now hinges on a contractor’s ability to demonstrate:

  • A consistent, proven approach to mobilisation and performance

  • Real-time financial oversight to protect margins and manage risk

  • A data-led model that improves decision-making, transparency, and reporting

Contractors using Causeway Job Management are setting the standard in all these areas.

How Causeway Job Management helps you win

Purpose-built for construction and maintenance, Causeway Job Management gives organisations control over their entire job lifecycle – from front-line scheduling and permit management to commercial performance and financial reporting – all within a single integrated system.

It enables contractors to present robust mobilisation strategies underpinned by live operational and financial data. Reporting dashboards and real-time analytics allow firms to evidence value, scale, and cost control – key expectations of modern public frameworks.

The solution also streamlines permitting and compliance by integrating directly with Street Manager, while mobile capabilities ensure job packs, risk assessments, and photographic records are available and updatable in the field – even offline.

This ability to demonstrate efficient, transparent delivery with reduced admin not only strengthens bids but builds trust with authorities.

"The implementation of Causeway Job Management helps us to streamline operations and reduce costs, while improving efficiency. At a time when local authorities’ budgets are being cut, this solution not only brings huge benefits to the business, but is also a worthy investment for our clients.”

Managing Director at VolkerHighways

"Once we had the Causeway solution in place, we quickly recognised the importance of introducing it to potential clients at bid stage to help them understand the benefits of a more standardised approach and the saving in cost and time it can provide."
