With a career spanning several decades, Barry Trebes began his journey as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 1983, working on notable aviation sector projects at Stansted Airport. In 1991, Barry's career took a transformative turn when he became involved with NEC contracts. NEC contracts, also known as New Engineering and Construction Contracts, serve as the cornerstone for defining rights, obligations, and management processes in construction projects. Barry emphasised the key pillars of NEC contracts, namely clarity, flexibility, and the ability to stimulate effective management.
