Yotta Teams up with Leading Testing, Inspection and Certification Services Provider, Applus+
Yotta has announced that it has signed a commercial agreement with Applus+, one of the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification (TIC) companies. Simon Topp, Global Sales Director, Yotta, said: “This agreement empowers both companies. It’s a win-win relationship, because Applus+ is able to enhance its product offering and technical capabilities and Yotta can do the same in terms of geographic presence, as Applus+ is doing business across five continents and in 70 countries around the world.”
Applus+ has customers across a wide range of sectors, notably including road management services. In this latter field, Applus+ has been developing its expertise for over 17 years, focussed mainly on data collection activity. The company has delivered road management schemes in Europe, the US, the Middle East and Latin America, applying the latest technologies across a wide range of projects, with values of up to $10 million.
Yotta’s infrastructure asset management solutions complement Applus+’ work, enabling the testing company to offer a complete set of services for the road management sector, from data collection to decision making for long-term maintenance planning. “This allows our company to look for and win new and larger contracts”, said Luis Alberto Jaen, International development manager of the Applus+ Group. “We are continuously looking for opportunities around the world. Having the capability to offer Yotta’s asset management solutions to existing and potential clients provides us with new opportunities to grow our business”, he adds.
