We caught up with the Telguard team to discuss how Causeway SpecifiedBy fits with their specification-led marketing strategy.
Telguard’s story began 33 years ago as the company created it’s first products, designed to enhance the automatic gate, door and barrier markets by making the total cost of installation, and consequential communications, more affordable.
Since then, a slew of products and services have been developed that continue to feature improved functionality, benefits and advances to satisfy increasing customer demand for Telguard products: remotely managed access points with cutting-edge communications across timezones, with phone number recognition and activity logs as standard.
“All of Telguard’s units can be remotely managed and have the ability to interface with many owner’s growing needs. You could say that our products are akin to adding a computer within an intercom, at very affordable prices.”
This coming year, Telguard have big ambitions:
“We are not yet the market leaders in our marketplace, but have put the wheels in motion to this year raise our profile in the Housing Association and Local Authorities arena.”
Telguard looked to Causeway SpecifiedBy to help achieve this.
“Invariably, we are overlooked on specification opportunities as the Telguard brand is not yet as well-known as some of our competitors. What we’re finding is that our products provide solutions to specifiers’ requirements, although their discovery of the Telguard offering is happening too late in the process.”
With all products built and adhering to the latest CE, RED and CAUK standards — as well as Secure By Design (SBD) options — Telguard are well positioned to hit the ground running with Causeway SpecifiedBy.
